Variety names Scopely a Billion-Dollar Brand

Scopely has been named one of Variety’s “Billion-Dollar Brands,” with a feature appearing in print and online last week. The feature highlights our journey from a small Los Angeles startup in 2011 to becoming the No. 1 mobile games company in the U.S. and the second-largest globally.

With more than $10 billion in lifetime revenue, 1 billion downloads, and six gaming franchises that have each surpassed $1 billion, Scopely has built one of the most diverse and successful portfolios in mobile games. That includes breakout titles like MONOPOLY GO!, which crossed $5 billion in just two years, and the recent addition of Pokémon GO through our acquisition of Niantic’s gaming division.
