When introducing the Fantastic Four to MARVEL Strike Force, our team set out to capture the spirit of the optimism of the 1960s that originally inspired the the team. It led to an unexpected question:
What if the Fantastic Four were brought to life as marionettes?
Inspired by vintage television programming and classic puppet-driven entertainment, Scopely partnered with the legendary Bob Baker Marionette Theater to transform Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and The Thing into fully realized handcrafted marionettes. The final production was staged like a vintage television special, celebrating the wonder and theatricality that defined the era:
