At Scopely, we believe life is better when we play together — and there’s no better place to honor that spirit than San Diego Comic-Con. This year, we showed up in full force to deliver epic experiences, connect with our players, and celebrate the amazing communities that bring our games to life.
GETTING FANTASTIC WITH "MONOPOLY GO!"
Our "MONOPOLY GO!" team joined forces with our friends at Google Play and Marvel for a high-energy, super hero-inspired adventure.
Fans stepped into the Google Rewards Lab to unlock exclusive perks and prizes inspired by the Fantastic Four. This included special "MONOPOLY GO!"-themed rewards to celebrate our exciting new collaboration with Marvel’s First Family.
While there, we had the chance to talk with players about what "MONOPOLY GO!" means to them, whether it’s teaming up to build empires, engaging in a little friendly sabotage, or simply sharing laughs with friends and family. Their stories remind us why we do what we do: creating games that spark joy, connection, and a dash of friendly competition.
WARP SPEED WITH "STAR TREK FLEET COMMAND"
We also took time to celebrate our "Star Trek Fleet Command" community with a private player event that felt like a family reunion, only with more Klingons.
Players met alliance-mates face-to-face for the first time and enjoyed live music from Star Trek legend Tim Russ, while bonding over a shared love of the Star Trek universe. Our partners at Paramount topped off the evening with a surprise screening of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, sending our fleet home with full hears (and starships).
We spoke with some of our players about the game's enduring appeal and what makes the community second-to-none:
San Diego Comic-Con reminded us why our players, and the communities they create, are at the heart of everything we do. Whether we’re rolling dice or exploring the galaxy, we’re proud to be part of the stories our players write together.
