Introducing the “MONOPOLY GO!”... BOARD GAME!

Scopely is thrilled to unveil our newest collaboration with Hasbro: the “MONOPOLY GO!” board game!

The “MONOPOLY GO!” board game captures the high-stakes thrills of a classic MONOPOLY showdown in a fast-paced format. The first player to build a landmark from four matching blocks wins – but that task becomes more challenging when fellow players sabotage their rivals’ progress through Shut Downs and Bank Heists, similar to the mobile game experience.

Designed for two to four players the board game aims to captivate the millions of “MONOPOLY GO!” mobile players and welcome new fans to the MONOPOLY universe.

This new element of the franchise comes at an exciting time for our breakout game, which has become a true cultural phenomenon. Following its record-breaking launch, “MONOPOLY GO!” has made history as the most successful mobile game launch ever in the U.S., attracting 10 million players every day.

Since launch, the global player community has passed “GO” more than 100 billion times, built more than 150 billion Landmarks, made more than 15 billion visits to jail, and completed more than 4 billion boards – further underscoring the game’s mass appeal that transcends generations and geographies.

As a sweet treat for our Tycoons in New York, we’re teaming up with the beloved and wildly creative ice cream shop Taiyaki NYC for a one-of-a-kind experience in honor of #NationalIceCreamDay this weekend, Sunday, July 21.

Players who visit Taiyaki NYC will be treated to a FREE MONOPOLY GO-themed cone inspired by the iconic real estate guru himself, Mr. Monopoly. They’ll also have the chance to unlock a virtual Community Chest to WIN the “MONOPOLY GO!” board game! (along with other prizes).
