A year in review: Scopely’s remarkable 2023

2023 was a game-changer for Scopely! 

We welcomed more than 500 new Scopeleans around the globe, including the Tag Games team in Scotland.

We embarked on a new adventure, joining Savvy Games Group, which marked one of the largest video acquisitions in history! 

We launched the biggest casual mobile game EVER this year with [“MONOPOLY GO!”](https://www.scopely.com/en/news/its-time-to-take-that-chance-monopoly-go-is-here) and watched it quickly become the  [#1 mobile game](https://www.scopely.com/en/news/monopoly-go-is-the-biggest-casual-game-launch-of-2023) of the year. Many of our games such as “Stumble Guys” continued to grow with new levels, partnerships, and more and we celebrated a number of game milestones with [“MARVEL Strike Force,”](https://www.scopely.com/en/news/marvel-strike-force-celebrates-five-years-of-community-teamwork-and-epic-marvel-action) [“Star Trek Fleet Command”](https://www.scopely.com/en/news/star-trek-fleet-command-turns-five) and “Looney Tunes World of Mayhem” each celebrating their five year anniversaries. Our teams across all of our games from “Bingo Bash” to “Scrabble GO” and more, continued to surprise and delight players. 

Scopely and our games also received the most award recognitions IN SCOPELY HISTORY , with wins from Google Play, Pocket Gamer, W3, NYX, Built In Best Places to Work,  the Webby Awards and so many more!

Our team’s efforts cemented an exciting new position as the #1 and #4 mobile games company in the US and worldwide, respectively (per data.ai)! GO SCOPELY!
